To change the parameter values, switch the power to the unit off, push the temperature set button and keep it pushed whilst switching the power to the unit back on again. The display will flash and intermittently show the figures 888. Once the display stops flashing, the instrument is in parameter mode. To scroll through the parameters push the set point button and to change the values of the parameters use the ‘adjust’ buttons. When finished, release all buttons and wait until the display shows the actual temperature again. Important If the power to the unit is switched off whilst the instrument is still in parameter mode, the system will NOT accept the changes.

The only parameter that should need to be altered from the factory settings is US. The factory setting is —1.5 which delivers product into the glass at approximately 2.0°C. If this setting needs to be altered, it will change in steps of 0.1°C.

ERROR CODES

No power   Check fuse in plug and check fuse on unit front is ok and screwed in holder tightly.
PF1 There is a fault with the evaporator block probe. The probe should be changed.
PF2 There is a fault on the high side probe. The high side probe should be changed
HT This error shows the unit is running too hot. The main reason for this is that there is no flow or very low flow in the water return line in the python. Check Python remote pump and water levels. The error code will clear when the temperature drops to an acceptable level.
EE There has been a microprocessor failure in the thermostat. The thermostat should be changed.
Display frozen If the display ‘freezes’ Switch off and switch back on.
