1. The Trimcooler should be located on or under a firm level surface, as close to the dispense point as possible, and orientated so that the on/off switch and programmable temperature control are accessible. No clearance around the Trimcooler is required as it does not require any ventilation.

2. Locate point at which to break into python line preferably where product comes out. Turn off remote python system water pump. Most water circulating lines in the python are 15 mm dia, cut the return water line, and fit a 1 5mm John Guest elbow to each end (D1). Fit 2 1 5mm John Guest elbows to the water in and water out of the trim cooler (D2).

3. It is very important that the water flow from the python goes into the water in of the Trimcooler. Make up mini python line of 2 x 15mm pipes and 2 product lines the correct length from python to cooler (D3). Connect to the 2 15mm Guest fittings from python to the 2 15mm Guest fittings on the Trimcooler making sure that the water flow is correct (D4) Connect product lines using Guest fittings to product in (1 and 2) at the back of the cooler.

4. Connect using Guest fittings to product out (1 and 2) at front of the ABC unit and feed the insulated product lines to the dispense taps (D4)

5. Turn on remote cooler water recirc, check for leaks. Insulate all open fittings. Plug in the Trimcooler.

6. Flush at least 1 pint through each product coil to ensure no foam is present inside the unit, otherwise the product may freeze. Turn on the Trimcooler at the on off switch, after a short interval while the control performs an internal test, the temperature control will show the temperature and the unit will start to work. From 20°C it will take approx 10 minutes to get down to the working temperature between —1.5 and —2.5°C. Please note It is normal for the control to turn off the compressor before the set-point has been reached, and it may take a number of compressor cycles before the unit reaches its normal operating temperature. The thermostat is factory set and once working at the correct temperature it is advisable to turn off LCD display (D2)

7. Important When cleaning the beer lines the Trimcooler must be turned off otherwise it will freeze the cleaning fluid (water).

8. Maintenance Wipe occasionally with damp cloth.

9. If compressor or thermostat problem occurs it will alarm on the LCD irrespective of whether it is on display or not.

10. For technical information on how to adjust the thermostat please call +44 (0)7979968655.
